The Collective Agreement between the BC Maritime Employers Association (BCMEA) and the International Longshore and Warehousemen's Union (ILWU) expires on March 31, 2010. Negotiations have been taking place since January and continue with the assistance of a Federally appointed mediator. At this stage, it is too early to estimate a time frame for conclusion of collective bargaining.
Rate adjustments to the Lynnterm Terminal Services Tariff and agreed handling rates will be made upon conclusion of the Collective Agreement.
